SURVEY AND MAPPING

Thermographic survey

IMES provide thermography survey for buildings commercial/industrial/ residential with well trained Technician & experienced Engineers by approved international & national standards

Thermography is a diagnostic technique increasingly utilised for surveying and recording the thermal properties of a building or object. A thermographic survey will detect infrared energy emitted and convert it to a temperature. This thermal imaging data is colour coded via individual pixels and displays an image of the object.

Thermographic surveys can be used by contractors to demonstrate that their building does not suffer from excessive cold bridging, air leakage or breaks in insulation. It is increasingly being used as an alternative to regular third-party inspections during construction. Major benefit of conducting thermography

Thermally adjusted images can identify faults with wiring or other components in Electrical Panel, Equipments To analyses following problems in buildings such as Leaky envelope, Air loss through buildings and internal members, Moisture in roof, insulation and wall, Air Leakage through ducts, Plumbing leaks, Mold, Verification of energy performance (conduction and air leakage) Thermography assesses the wear and lubrication of mechanical components and determines any overheating

EMF Survey / Radiation Survey

IMES provide EMF Survey/Radiation survey for buildings commercial/industrial/ residential with well trained Technician & experienced Engineers by approved international & national standards

Electromagnetic fields or EMF can be problematic from two perspectives: the concern over potential health effects to human exposure and the disruption to sensitive equipment under high magnetic field conditions. Our EMF testing and remediation services can identify both issues.

The most common sources for high electromagnetic fields include proximity to power lines, transformers or appliances, flaws in the internal building’s wiring system, stray currents on utility pipes and also radio frequency radiation from broadcast and towers. We conduct an EMF survey, assess EMF levels and remediate the electromagnetic field exposures. Sensitive analytical and research instrumentation are most commonly affected. EMF measurement surveys are usually conducted for one of the following reasons:

Real Estate Transactions | Health Concerns | Low EMF Building Design| Equipment Interference Issues | Baseline for Field Reduction Methods | Future Exposure Projections| Building Assessments | Identification of Wiring Errors and Stray Currents | Long-Term Data Logging to Evaluate Fluctuations in EMF Levels.

Our Real Time Spectrum Analyzer with advanced features including the ability to express radiation intensity as a percentage of current ICNIRP recommendations, as well as standard units (W/m2, V/m & A/m) are deployed for measurement of these activities. Frequency bands used by the mobile telephone operators (GSM, UMTS) are preprogrammed in the meter and can be analyzed individually.
